Extramate has been established in order to produce some machines invented by Benoit Gobard.
Benoit Gobard is Engineer of Purpan-Toulouse University. He has worked many years for a Japaneese Construction Machinery Company. During this period, he considered that many handling operations still done manually and should be made by some small machines.
First invention was a wheel barrow loading on the ground. Next this wheel barrow became the multi-purpose articulated electric carrier.
In order to protect the invention, two patents have been registered in 2011 and 2012.
The electric carrier should be a solution for many applications. Everywhere there is something to move in cramped areas or inside buildings.
Now days, the electric mobility become more and more popular and many components are available to design very useful machines.
The design of the first articulated electric carrier took two years. The new machine born in Seine et Marne at the east part of the Paris area, in a small workshop.
The first electric articulated carrier prototype has been named Extramate because it was the next machine after Ultimate a wheel barrow loading on the ground. So Extramate became the company name.

2014 electric wheel barrow become a electric articulated carrier, first sales oversea in England, first sales to rental companies,
2015, the carrier become four wheel drive and many new attachments, first sales in carabian ilands and switzeland, first attachement with motor, first sales in pig industry.
2016 many new attachements for horticultur, nursery, farming, landscaping...
